GDPR information to our guests
We at Tyringe Kurhotell want you to feel safe with how we handle your personal data.
We respect your privacy and comply with the legislation aimed at protecting you as an individual.
Tyringe Kurhotell AB is personally responsible for our services.
From May 25, 2018, the new Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. GDPR replaces the existing Personal Data Act (PUL) and applies to all EU countries.
GDPR has been developed to protect you as a customer and your rights regarding the handling and distribution of your personal data. The idea is that you as a guest should feel confident that your registered information is not used in and improperly less. The current Swedish PUL is actually founded for GDPR and most of PUL is found in GDPR.
3. Definition of personal data
A personal information is such data that in some way identify you as a person. That is, name, address, telephone, mail etc. Non-personal information about bookings, sales and activities is not included as this is counted as business secrets and in many cases is covered by accounting rules and accounting requirements.
4. Registration of personal data
When you register with us by phone, e-mail, online booking or visit, we save your contact information in order to effectively manage your bookings. By submitting your personal data to us, you consent to your personal data being processed in accordance with the applicable legislation in accordance with GDPR.
You as a guest always have the right to get a copy of all the information stored about you.
5. Collection of data when booking via an online travel agency (OTA)
When booking a hotel via a booking agency online, such as booking.com or hotels.com, you provide your personal information to them. These personal data are responsible for and handled by the respective operator in accordance with their personal data policy.
When you book through a travel agency, you personally submit your personal data to the travel agency and agree that the travel agency deals with these in their business.
We are not responsible for the respective operators´ handling of the personal data you provided directly to them.
6. Information security
We always handle data in a reliable manner and we do not share your information with third parties.
If we get a data breach or if an accidental loss of personal information occurs, the data controller will document the incident and report it to the Data Inspection and affected customers.
If you have booked a stay or a restaurant visit, you have the right to see the information stored about you in our booking system.
You who have made a booking with us have the right to receive information about which personal data are stored about you.

8. Removal of Information
You who have had or recently made a booking with us and choose not to give us your consent may gladly email us to inform us that we will remove your information. Email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
